The Summer Market

The Summer Market is a unique, outdoor festival held right along the Black River in Lorain, Ohio.  Thousands of guests visit the Market each year to shop for furniture, architectural salvage, vintage finds, art & jewelry, coastal decor, fresh produce and a variety of other goods from more than 100 vendors.

Guests can grab a bite to eat from several featured restaurants and food trucks, enjoy a cocktail by the water, enjoy live music, watch the sun set or shop in the summer sun.

Since 2004, handmade artists from across Northeast Ohio (and beyond!) have gathered with us at 78th Street Studios to sell their amazing work during our holiday show. We got our start in this building, and it's still our largest holiday season event. Join us in Gordon Square and find one of a kind gifts for everyone on your list from both Bazaar makers and resident art studios!

As always, admission is free.

Lauren Herzak-Bauman of Lauren HB Studio and Heather Mariano, owner of Play Grounds Café, are teaming up once again to create a playful shopping event this holiday season. The duo has gathered a team of amazing local female vendors and the list is a mighty one. On Thursday, December 5th, Play Grounds will open the doors to usher in a full night of shopping, sipping and fun holiday cheer. There will be vendors lining the cafe space with coffee and tea available to all guests!

Picture the Summer Market, but indoors with a warm holiday vibe. 35 carefully curated artists, makers, finders, collectors, and boutiques will offer you unique home decor and holiday gifts. We’ll have yummy bites from Cafe Melissa and a handful of food trucks will be on hand, cash bar open all weekend, holiday music… everything you will need to kick-off the holiday season in the most incredible new event space!

Friday November 22

4:30 pm- 6:30 pm VIP shopping night (tickets are sold out)

6:30pm- 9:30pm General Admission- $5 at the door

Saturday November 23

9:30am- 4:30pm - $2 at the door
